Start a Business & Quit Your Job – Enough Talk

start a businessHaven’t you talked enough? Isn’t it time to quit your job and start a business?

I recently sent an inquiring email to a past coaching client and friend (we’ll call him Joe) asking for an update on a dream business he’s wanted to start. He’s been talking about getting this business started for 7 years. The thing is, I did this guy a disservice by the way I asked about his plans.

The subject line read: Ready to talk yet?

Body of message: Let’s get your plans off hold and get them moving. I’d love to hear an update. Regardless of where you are I’m sure there are effective actions you can do now to develop your business.

Joe’s response: Would love to talk to you Tom. Do you have some time to get together? Can you call me at your convenience?

Since Joe responded that he would love to talk and that’s where I realized my mistake. I was not helping him start a business by offering to do more of the same thing that has kept him in this waiting state.

If you’ve wanted to quit your job and start a business for a long time and haven’t perhaps you can relate.

Talk only gets you so far. You are more ready to act than you think you are and there is ALWAYS  an optimum next step for you to take.  (See strategy session offer at the end of this post if you want to know your optimum next step.)

Talking more about it is the last thing this guy needs. Yeah Joe’s a talker with a heart of gold and I’m sure that he’s talked to everyone he knows about how to start his business by now. He’s probably talked to most of us more than once.

But Joe doesn’t need to talk things over any longer. He needs to act without further delay.

My response: Of course we can talk and even meet for coffee if need be. But first I’d like you to get really clear on where you are, where you want to be and the obstacles that are in your way.

Why? Because I don’t think I’d be serving you by just talking. Haven’t you done enough “talking things over”? Isn’t it time to decide what you want and act?

So how about this? Please pause, take a deep breath and answer these questions.

1). What is the current state of your project?

2). If things went really well where would you like it to be in 90 days? Six months?

3). What are the top three obstacles stopping you?

With respect,

Tom

PS I know my email said ready to talk yet? It should have said – ready to do something strong and different? I’m rooting for you.

It’s my hope that Joe responds promptly with the answers to my questions. By doing so he will have earned the opportunity to get really clear with a thorough free strategy session. He’ll leave knowing exactly what he needs to do to take his dream and make it real.

How about you? Do you want to quit your job and start a business? Do you have a dream you want to make real? Have you taken the time to answer the three action questions above? I’d love to see your answers.

Five Essentials to Choosing the Right Business

"choosing the right business."How did you choose your business?  Did you choose it based on who you are or did you allow the circumstances and relationships in your life to choose it for you?

If you think you may have chosen incorrectly or if you haven’t even chosen yet – these five essentials will show you how to choose the right business.

I work with corporate employees who want to confidently quit their jobs and start a business.  Choosing a business that brings you alive is essential for your success but just doing what you love isn’t enough.

Just like the prospective entrepreneur who has yet to choose, existing business owners will benefit from knowing the five essentials for choosing the right business.

Existing business owners could be just one small adjustment away from success.  New business owners can start right the first time.

Money and clients are attracted to confident enthusiasm so both need a small business blueprint that inspires taking frequent action confidently and enthusiastically.

These five essential elements are not linear.  Instead imagine  a five sided pentagon of success.

  1. Sell the product or service that you are most eager to create. Eagerness leads to willingness which leads to action which leads to success. Eagerness is a natural response to authentic desire and only exists in the absence of fear.  Business can be a drag without natural eagerness.
  2. Work in your business on the activity that gives your deepest gladness. Deep gladness goes beyond love. Gladness is love with deep meaning.  What really matters to you matters because it is deeply aligned with your core makeup.  Isn’t it kind of stupid to start a business that doesn’t take into account the whims, talents and values of the founder?
  3. Start a business serving who and what you care about the most.  There is good reason for your experiences. Life is not a random event.  You’ve seen what you’ve seen and been though what you’ve experienced in order to give a damn about someone or something.  It’s time for you to take a stand and serve where you really care.
  4. Make a difference by giving customers the solutions that they most need.  In order for your business to thrive someone, somewhere has to really need what you’re selling.  There has to be some meat in your offer that someone is emotionally hungry for.  Quit talking about how you do what you do.  That’s too light of a meal.  Instead hit them hard with direct messages that speak to what they really need.
  5.  Finally offer your customers what they need in the way that they want it.  If you don’t meet them where they are they won’t recognize how much you can help.  Speak the language of those you are selling to.  Be strategic and smart by entering the conversation they are already having with themselves.  That’s how they want it.  They want it clear and understandable.

Eagerness, deep gladness and deep care enthusiastically served in a dish of what they need in the way they want it.  That’s the recipe for small business success.

So how many sides does your startup business pentagon have?  Without all five you aren’t really building a business that will last.  But you can change that.  You can choose to start a business that is right for you and for your clients.

Each month I offer five free strategy sessions to help prospective business owners get really clear on:

  • Understanding the person you need to be in order to make the leap.
  • Discovering the number one thing stopping you from starting
  • The right timing for you to make your move.
  • Identifying the next step that will give you the confidence to take the leap.
  • Exactly what you need to do next to make your move.

To claim your session send me an email  telling me why you want to be self-employed.

Exploiting Your Authentic Edge

Do you know your authentic edge in the marketplace? Are you exploiting it for maximum value? Your authentic edge is the value that only you can provide in the way that only you can provide it.

I’ve never understood or agreed with those who claim that everything has already been invented, thought up or created.  That belief dishonors your individuality and your unique purpose.

I believe that each of us has an authentic edge that is a combination individual identity, desires and meaning. That combo, when enthusiastically expressed, is your positional advantage in the marketplace.

So how can you best identify and cash in on your authentic edge? This previous post will help you sharpen your edge.

But the best way to identify it, is to boil it all the way down to its core value.  Blow away everything but the three drivers (identity, desires and meaning) and see what paths become apparent when all distractions are removed.

Less is more. Simplicity is more attractive than complexity.  In my experience, the more complex a situation – the longer it takes to change it.

It takes longer because it requires more thought.  Since we tend to over think important decisions, more thought almost always leads to even more thought and costly delay.

If you really want to make the most optimum decision and take confident action use the following formula.

Simplicity leads more swiftly to clarity. >

Clarity encourages decision. >

Decision leads to action. >

Action further clarifies. >

Authenticity increases the probability of your decision being the best decision you could make now.  When it’s your best possible decision, then you are going to be at your highest level of confidence while following through.

Trust yourself.  You know far more than you think you do.

Less is more.   I wonder if my coaching clients would be better served if the only thing I coached them on was how to best identify these three critical drivers?

Identity > Who you are
Desires > What you want
Meaning > What matters most to you

The combination of these three will point to an obvious decision and follow-through actions.  Work it and you’ll begin to see clearer paths.

We all have a major decision to make that we aren’t making.  The best way to make it, is to ask more powerful questions to drive your quest.

What decision once acted on, would best honor who I am, get what I most want and positively change what matters the most to me?

The answer will point you in the sure direction of your highest value, which is your authentic edge.  What’s your authentic edge?

On October 20, join me for this Free phone class  Micro Business Startup Success; together we’ll find the edge of your highest value.

True Calling On A Wing A Prayer And A Guess

On a wing and a prayer means in beat up condition but still managing to get the job done. The saying is taken from a World War Two patriotic song that tells the story of a damaged plane barely able to limp back to base.

I think it’s wildly inspiring to fly by the seat of your pants and just make it.

Some folks get overly concerned about being able to find their calling because they fear they don’t have one. These fearful souls believe as if they are somehow so special that they were put on this earth for no meaningful reason.

So what, you haven’t yet found work that expresses your purpose, what are you going to do, quit life?

Are you going to quit living and settle way down in the depths of depression because your personal true calling quest has yet to be fruitful?

Don’t give me that bull. You may have stuck your toe in the water a bit but you have no right to hang it up, until you at least try a wing, a prayer and a guess.

Don’t quit life. I want to encourage you to suck it up, take off and make it back to the authentic base of who you are.

A Wing

To take flight, find some reason to feel good enough and hopeful enough to get to the next milestone of positive belief. That’s all it takes.

You simply need to change your perspective enough so that you reach the tipping point of positive belief.

To get started you just have to believe that finding and enjoying your true calling could happen. Then you just have to express the courage enough to say that you want it to happen.

All transition is about latching onto the uplift of positive energy and riding it to the next progress point.

This next point of progress can be a fresh realization of understanding or actual results. It doesn’t really matter which, as long as you can feel the energy of hope.

Being hopeful is ill advised only when it’s the only thing you’re relying on. But when you back your hope up with just enough action to stumble forward, hope becomes an uplifting and effective strategy.

Enthusiastic energy provides the fuel of hope when results are thin. It doesn’t really matter what belief is behind your hope. Sometimes we need to lean more heavily on the confidence of others until our self-confidence builds.

The best reason for working career discovery on a wing a prayer and a guess, is because at least you are in the game. When you’re in the game and not merely on the sidelines fortunate synchronicities become more probable.

Timid souls who play it safe, never get even a whiff of these delightful possibilities because they are too damned sacred of losing the life of their daily bitching.

A Prayer

After years of work with hundreds of coaching clients, I’ve come to understand that identifying one’s true calling is primarily a spiritual process. Regardless of individual religious beliefs, this process must be approached with sacred reverence and respect.

True calling cannot be intellectually “figured out”. This process is deeply meaningful to the individual and to the greater community that the individual serves. This sacred connection makes the conscious awareness of working a spiritual process essential.

I want to share with you the prayer that I prayed to accelerate clarity around my calling. This prayer is not for the faint of heart, but for the bold. Do not pray this powerful prayer without a willingness to follow your call. Pray to the God, Higher Power or Inner Guidance of your own faith.

MP3 File

A Guess

Any educated guess, put into action, will get you 100 times closer to seeing your real calling than the most brilliant strategy that is planned and never acted upon.

Really, if you simply wrote down the business that most brings you alive by imagining it and decided on one small way to take committed action for the next two weeks, your life would be forever changed.

Seekers of ideal work would be better off by experimenting, by guessing, by putting themselves in play more often so that life force energy of calling can bless them. Guess and act and you too will receive experiences by which to adapt to move closer to calling.

Make more decisions in every day because a decision is a summoning of life. That’s why a little chaos is good for you, because often you don’t make a decision until you get yourself in a jam. And then, in the middle of the jam, you make a decision, but that decision summons Life Force. Have you ever been a place where you couldn’t quite make up your mind and you just felt sort of limp? “Oh, I don’t know. I don’t know. I don’t know.” And then you decided, and you felt alive again. We want you to know that you’ll never get it done. So don’t approach this from, “I gotta get on this” because you’re not ever going to get it done, anyway. And the other thing we want you to know is, you cannot get it wrong. So, make a decision. Let it flow.
— Abraham

Which part of this sacred, true calling trinity do you need to engage right now?

Authentic Business Building

We’ve all experienced the ready acceptance of affinity.  Having something in common like a similar university experience or hailing from the same neck of the woods seems to create an instantaneous bond that relaxes both parties.

I wonder,  if this occurs because way down deep within we already know that we are one and the affinity just gives us a reason to express our connection?

A Deeper Connection

My experience shows that authenticity can create an even deeper connection than affinity.

Authentic means you bring all of you to the interaction.  No hiding parts of your personality.  No mask wearing.  Simply show up as the real you.  For those of us who value authenticity this is meaningful.

A more genuine connection happens in the expression of that authenticity. A warmness and familiarity builds because you’ve shown up on the same terms with the same intention.

Authentic Business building is more about expressing than impressing.

An authentic connection means that we can count on one another for an intention of mutual highest good.  An authentic connection means more transparency than polish. When all of our interactions both commercial and personal are transparent and above board we can more cleanly make decisions without fear.

 Opportunities Arise on Comfort’s Edge

Everybody likes a good surprise.  We can create a breeding ground for surprises but we must to be willing to accept both pleasant ones and uncomfortable ones.

In my phone classes I’ll often share a point and then offer immediate laser coaching on that tool or issue.

Talk about being the edge of ones comfort zone.   At least for me, network marketing was very uncomfortable because it wasn’t really natural or authentic.  Authentic discomfort is a whole different animal.

When I make that coaching offer in my classes, I have no idea what someone is going to present or how my coaching will be received.    But I like being out there on the edge because on the edge of our comfort zones are where pleasant surprises happen.

Are you perhaps playing it a little too safe?  Nudge yourself a little closer to the cliff.  You might enjoy the authentic aliveness out there.

On the edge of comfort is where the juiciest opportunities present themselves.

You’re Brilliant!

You really are brilliant, you know.  Out of 6 billion of us on the planet there is no one like you.

That’s not some cruel joke.  There is meaning to your being.  But that meaning is wasted when you don’t do what you love for a living.

Your uniqueness is your greatest blessing.

Are you leveraging your uniqueness?

Are you expressing your authentic individuality by doing what you love?

If not what do you fear?

I know you’ve experienced flashes of your own brilliance.

I know you’ve felt authentic aliveness with the arrival of a bold new idea.

How many of those ideas have you had without even taking the next small step to acting on them?

How often do you set one half-completed project aside and jump to the momentary madness of yet another fresh idea that you’ll likely not complete?

What causes you to fear and not act?

What is it about the delicious inspiration in a brand new idea that causes you to momentarily lose your senses?

Is it because it carries with it an unconditioned and unspoiled promise?

Is it because you haven’t yet dishonored it by not acting?

Is it because it offers further relief from the discomfort of completing last week’s fresh idea?

I used to be affected by this kind of unproductive, uninspired behavior but since I have begun noticing how the energy of inspiration, I’ve been experiencing creation differently.

So I’m curious, what do you think is missing from your creative productivity process?

There’s really nothing wrong with your brilliant bad ass self.  You can do something brilliantly that is far more valuable than you ever contribute by copying the inspiration of another.

But if you can identify what’s missing – you can add it.

There’s a lot to be said for work habits and or inspiration that increase your speed to taking the first step.  Urgency bypasses the fear of our cognitive minds.  You can try this do what you love exercise and prove it to yourself.

What was missing for me was a real feeling of connection that inspires authentic aliveness.  I’m almost embarrassed to admit it but I think I’m one of those people who need to feel good about doing what I’m doing.

Some self-employed business owners develop the discipline to be productive regardless of their feelings.  But does creativity have to be a fight or can it be more of a flow?  It makes me wonder.

I wonder if for me and maybe others, a more effective approach is to generate good feelings about our ideas and projects so we are more authentically inspired to complete them.

Now generating good feelings of authentic aliveness is something that I know how to do.

It’s working so far.  Stay tuned for further developments.

In the meantime, lighten up and imagine how effective you might be if you regularly got unconditional supportive praise like the dude in my favorite commercial.

When you are ready to get really clear on what you want seize this opportunity.

The Missing Link To Business Start Up Success

Too often the founders of start up businesses keep things to themselves for far too long. Without the willingness and ability to bounce ideas off the right people, would be entrepreneurs unnecessarily delay a successful business launch.  istock_000005716223xsmall

In 1999 I’d been coaching for a little more than a year and a prospective client was interviewing me to determine how well we might work together.  I can still recall the conversation 10 years later, because Bob understood the value of paying for an objective truth.

Client Bob explaining, “I just want you to listen closely while I talk though my business challenges.  That will be invaluable to me because you’ll be the only trusted person in my life without an agenda.  My boss, my wife, my children and my co-workers all want something from me and thus they are all biased towards their own motivations.  I just want you to listen and to occasionally give me a straight, unbiased opinion.”

Bob and I worked well together for over a year because my only agenda was his success as he defined it.

The Value of Objectivity

The straight up truth is very rare and extremely valuable for business start up success. Yet it can be challenging to get someone to tell it like they really see it.

Where do you get your totally unbiased, independent feedback?

Is your source truly objective or do they have a hidden agenda of their own?

Closeness is not always a good indicator of objectivity as this post on spousal support suggests.  The closer one is to you the more difficult it is to remove their personal fears from the advice they offer.  Often unwillingness to leads to diluted, sugarcoated advice.

Survival fears also heavily influence what’s shared.  I’ve seen large organizations where everyone is afraid to tell the leader that he’s wearing no clothes.

Your Business Is Very Personal To You

You and your business start up ideas are separate.  Yet being able to really hear feedback and receive it without getting defensive requires that the source of the feedback be skilled in communicating it.

Truth can be personally challenging to accept, especially when it comes from a close friend or relative.

You Get What You Pay For

Trust and confidence needs to be unquestionable.  In matters of law we have no trouble hiring an attorney to present us with our options.

As a coach I am a fierce advocate for coaching because  I’ve seen so many potential entrepreneurs die with their music still in them.  Often the death of their initiative can be traced to fearful free advice offered by a friend or relative.

Paying for an environment conducive to start up success along with the trust and confidentiality that only a business coach can provide is essential when faced with crucial career and business start up decisions.

Consider your current source of business advice and ask these questions.

Can I be sure that they are putting my best interests first?

Have they demonstrated a capacity to tell the truth while at the same time unconditionally supporting my efforts?

Do I leave conversations feeling more inspired and much clearer about possibilities?

Am I inspired to confidence after these conversations because I’m now armed with methods to create what I want to create?

Coaching delivers all of this and much more.

Unbiased Feedback Presents Priorities

What’s the number one priority for any business?

Delivering a uniquely better product, profitably, to more clients.  That’s it.

But so many start up entrepreneurs in the planning and pre-startup stage are working on everything but that.   They’re spending weeks thinking about domain names, business names, tag lines, business plans, brochures, forms, etc, etc. etc.

Instead on concentrating on the main thing – a better service and happy clients.

Could straight up advice delivered in clearly supportive fashion be your missing link to start up success?

Choose the Right Tool

My Dad subscribed to the brute force method of fine carpentry. He believed everything could be fixed with a big screwdriver and a hammer. If a door frame wasn’t quite plumb, just loosen it with the screwdriver and give it a couple of whacks.  Tools

Business can be like that. If something isn’t quite right we can often force it into place with a few good whacks of hard work and effort.  But these quick fixes in business and carpentry often come back to haunt us because we were addressing only symptoms.

If the only tool you have is a hammer, you tend to see every problem as a nail.  Abraham Maslow

When challenged we tend to reach for the life or business tool that gives us immediate but temporary relief – rather than looking at core causes and selecting a tool that eliminates the problem permanently.  Your life and your business works to the degree that you apply the right tool to make it work.

But what can you do when you know you don’t have the right tool for the job? You could apprentice with someone with a bigger toolbox.

If your life or business feels like you’ve whacked it into place once too often, perhaps it’s time to hire a professional coach with more of the right tools in his box?  Coaches are paid for resourcefulness.

By focusing on what, you the client,  most want to create, it’s our job to suggest practical tools, methods, approaches, concepts and exercises that will accelerate your focused progress.  If what you need isn’t already in my toolbox, you and I will create a customized solution to resolve your issue.

Remember the story of the craftsman who saved the day by getting an essential piece of machinery running again?  He inspected the machine, took out his hammer, tapped once and fixed it.  Later his customer was surprised to get a $500 bill for a five minute fix.  The craftsman explained his bill. “That’s $5 for tapping and $495 for knowing where to tap.”

Professional business coaches not only know what tool to use but they know when to tap, where to tap and to what degree.

Here’s a tool I often use to clear the air and see where we are.  Continuing with our hammer theme, a few words from a master.

Hammer time – Break it down.  MC Hammer

Breaking things down so you can see where you are is essential to business prosperity.  From my observation, we make business far too complicated.  Lately I’ve been on a quest to ruthlessly simplify my own business.

Ruthless simplification is powerfully transformative.

The effect of uncovering and releasing foggy purpose activities is astonishing.

Business coaches are paid to guide business growth.  You don’t need to hire a coach to maintain – you hire us for movement.

Break It Down Business Tool

I’ve found that the best way to break something down is to decide where you are in this laser-like process.  Regardless of what you want from your small business, your growth opportunity will be at one of these stages.  Select the stage where you think you are and then apply your answer to the accompanying question.

Clarity – What do I need to see more clearly?

Decision – What unmade decision demands my attention?

Creation – What do I most what to create now?

Action – What can I do now?

Then work with your business coach to apply tools of clarity, decision, creation or action.   Apply the right tool, at the right time, with the right touch and you’ll produce your desired outcome.

Business like life is neither difficult nor easy.  Both are how you see them and how you make them.

Creative Consciousness Strategy

I’ve been observing the various states of being/doing, which we find ourselves in all day long.  For small business entrepreneurs, strategic productivity is essential.  To improve business productivity, raise your state of consciousness.

Doubt and distraction are the two stuck states most often raised by my clients, which get in the way of their completing what they say they want to complete.

Both states are non-productive and keep us stuck within over-thinking and avoidance.  But once we decide to act, what are the most and least productive states?

istock_000004139892xsmallFrom what I’ve observed, creation is the most productive and allowing is the least productive.

Creation stimulates positive evolution in business mastery, personal productivity and personal growth.

The Creative Consciousness Strategy is a way to pause and catch oneself in the moment. This is the third strategy in this series here’s one and two.

ladderfortomTo engage the strategy, look at the ladder of creative consciousness and use it to decide to move up as many rungs as you can.

The Creative Consciousness Strategy has the same effect as asking this question about any business activity: “Is this something that makes me a profit?”

Or, for more creative living, ask, “is this something that brings me great joy or fulfillment?”

Here’s a quick description of how I see each rung.

When allowing, we are permitting and/or endorsing an action that may not have originated by conscious personal choice. When allowing, we are indulging the whims of others or permitting unexpected situations to determine our investment of resources.

Reacting is a notch above, because at least we are recoiling to an outside stimulus – even though reaction is often quick and emotionally charged, and only provides temporary relief.

Responding is a more considered and thoughtful acknowledgment of the situation, and thus our return response is often more logical and effective. But it’s still a return volley and not an originally initiated action.

Promotion is a step higher because we have decided to affect our own world by coercion, persuasion, education or some other method of influence.

Requesting is a higher state because we are asking and inviting.  Since asking invites feedback and conversation, it is the closest state to creation and is often a precursor to it.

But creation is the highest business and life state, because it melds authenticity with intent, confidence and decision.  Creation allows for experimentation and the expansion of possibilities.  Because of this, it’s never a dead end.  Creation is the highest state of being/doing consciousness because it generates value.

The most effective way to reach a state of higher creative consciousness is to be challenged to boldy create the life or business of ones dreams.  Playing small serves no one.  Want a chaleneg that will knock your sokcs off? How To Create and Complete By Using Strategies

istock_000006400586xsmall

A strategy is a plan of action.  It’s a method for creating, doing or accomplishing something.  We often hear of Marketing strategies, Business strategies, Brand strategies, etc., but the entrepreneurs and businesses owners I work with in my small business coaching practice mostly need Creation and Completion strategies.

The marketplace rewards completions.

In 10 years of business coaching I’ve developed several effective strategies so that my clients can follow through and complete what they say is important to them.

In an effort to stick to a more reliable posting schedule, look for a small business strategy every Thursday.

In previous posts, many readers commented on my challenge of telling the whole truth to yourself about yourself.  It’s an essential component of playing a bigger game.

Well-engaged strategies encourage radical honesty.

When used correctly, a strategy offers us four gifts that unplanned creation does not.  These gifts are, approach, focus, intention and game plan.

1). Approach is the access or entry point for the strategy.  More than half the battle is getting started, and certainty of approach allows us to hit the ground running.

2). Focus allows us to create an environment and a structure most conducive to successfully carrying out our strategy.  With focus we can simply drop everything that does not advance our chosen strategy.

3). Intention dictates our overriding posture while carrying out the strategy.  Lightness, flexibility, urgency and intensity are all examples of a guiding intention.

4). Game plan is the procedure, plan, process or system that’s all laid out for us in steps to follow.

GO DIRECT is this week’s strategy.

When business owners aren’t completing or creating programs and projects, I’ve found that fear is needlessly complicating their efforts.  They’ve fallen prey to distraction, procrastination, avoidance or perfectionism.  When any of these are in play, owners often fear the very action that would set them free.

The GO DIRECT strategy lasers in on only the actions that most directly help secure what we want.  But since we’ve needlessly complicated things, we have to first drill down to identify what we really want.

Step One is > Identify precisely what you want.

I’ve had clients tell me they want to “get the word out” about their small business. In coaching, I’ll ask them “what will that do?” They’ll say, “It will help us to be seen.” I’ll ask, “What will that lead to?” Their response “Well if we’re seen, we’ll be an option when prospects are looking.” “Looking for what?” Finally they say, “to hire us to (fill in the blank).”

You see where this is going? They don’t really want to get the word out, to be seen, or even to be seen when prospects are looking.  What they precisely want are clients.  So why not GO DIRECT to securing clients?  Social media, blogging and other forms of marketing can be less than direct means to get a client.  So my coaching client and I will agree to a number of very direct client acquisition actions.

Step Two is > Describe exactly what you want, in vibrant detail, so you’ll know it when you see it.

If you want clients, somewhere the client you seek is seeking you.  If you can describe that client, understand her needs and think about serving her, you are actually using strategic intent to increase the probability of being hired by her.

Step Three is > … actually Step Three is to use a different effective strategy for daily completion, which I’ll share next Thursday.  Many strategies play off one another to create the business you most want.

Do you routinely follow-through on what you say is important to you?

If you don’t follow-through, then take charge by working a strategy that works for you.  Strategies are deceptively simple.  But don’t let their simplicity keep you from using them.

Strategies can save your life and your business.

Do you use creation and completion strategies in your life or business?

Want a test drive coaching session where we tackle your biggest business challenge and agree to the most effective strategies to get what you want? All you have to do is ask.
